Below: Freyguy gets his books signed by Professor Richard Dawkins after a public lecture. The celebrated evolutionary biologist has authored many books, including the (in)famous atheist treatise and bestseller, The God Delusion. You can see how thrilled he was to meet me, after an hour lecture, a half-hour of questions, and an hour of signing books. I think it's safe to say that Richard and I are now close personal friends.
Kidding aside, he was extremely generous with his time and it was a real privilege to meet him and hear him speak. Only an Oxford-educated Brit can call something "uttah nonsense" and still sound polite. ReplyDeleteHorribly cathecised in the art of philosophy and injects his poor philosophy into science. Even some of his peers like Sloan have taken notice. Having said that, he was civil and charitable in this exchange. Not that he is a jerk most the times but it's difficult for me to get past his dislike of religion. At least Hitchens properly identifies himself as an "anti-theist". - Good to see Spinkles....-Victor
